The international coaching consultancy

The client: operates across the world providing coaching and mentoring to high level executives and directors.

The need: the client had identified a need for best practice workbooks to support the development of executives receiving coaching and mentoring. The need was for self-study packs on a variety of subjects, each of which would allow the leader to improve their knowledge and capability in key business areas.

What we did: we took the brief outline and key subject headings that had been provided by the client for each of the workbooks. We then undertook in-depth research on the subject, to the level appropriate to the seniority of the target audience, and prepared a draft proposal for each workbook.
Having received approval we then wrote the workbooks to include study text, learning exercises, self-assessment tests and further development activity.

10 workbooks were produced on subjects such as –

  • Market audit and customer segmentation
  • Competitor awareness
  • Developing, managing and motivating teams
  • Establishing goals and roles
  • Personal effectiveness

The workbooks enabled the client to enhance their offering, increase the value of the coaching provided and, more recently, to offer the programme as a franchise opportunity to other coaches and consultancies.
